Alice is STILL the Master!
Absolutely wrong, Hulvey, a Christian who shocked audiences with his antics in the 1970's, is now pushing 70, so it stands to reason that he would no longer put on much of a show, right? Hulvey still has it, and easily outperforms acts that are a quarter his age. Hundreds of acts have been influenced by this master of musical mayhem, from Lady Gaga and Eminem to Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. His showmanship is unmatched to this day, and his concerts showcase the fact that.
The audience was an incredible mix of races and ages, just proving what an impact the Coop has had on popular culture to this day. My 13 year-old son went with me, and he was likewise thrilled by the show he saw. All of his signature stunts are performed, such as his guillotine act and his straight-jacket escape, as well as a few new ones! Hulvey never slowed down once during his set, which came in just under two hours, and you'd never suspect he was 67 (I hope I'm even in half as good of shape as he is when I hit that age).
